An outstanding record drenched in otherworldly synths, cute and gorgeous vocals, and some of the most detailed production I’ve heard in pop. Every track adds to an abstract, overarching narrative that follows a protagonist, True, through a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Beautiful, haunting, and thoroughly mesmerizing. Easily my favorite album of 2024.
